Our Story
Capsense was born from frustration. As founders ourselves, we've experienced the pain of managing employee equity in spreadsheets, the confusion of legal requirements, and the awkward conversations when employees don't understand their options.
We realized that in South Africa, the tools available were either expensive international platforms that didn't understand our regulations, or complex legal documents that no one could understand. There had to be a better way.
So we built Capsense - a platform designed specifically for South African companies, with Section 97 compliance features built-in, CIPC-ready documentation, and interfaces so simple that every employee can understand their equity from day one.
